Did you know that 1 in 4 adults in the UK have experienced a common mental health problem?

You are not alone in experiencing difficulties and talking therapies such as Counselling are one of the treatment options.

You can access support for yourself by giving me a call or sending me an email. We will then arrange a time to talk over the phone about what it is you are looking for and what help I can provide.

The next step?

The next step, after our telephone conversation, is to arrange an initial one-off, face to face counselling assessment appointment, lasting up to 50 minutes.

This will give us the opportunity to discuss in more detail what it is that you are looking for and what I am able to offer.

I will also collect some background information at this stage.

Please rest assured that there is no obligation to book further sessions, but if you do decide that you would like some more support, details on how we would work together are below.

What can you expect from Ongoing Counselling with me?

Having had our initial meeting and in booking some ongoing sessions, I feel that we are both making a commitment to working together to address the difficulties you are experiencing.

We will do this by looking at the issues you are facing and by talking about what is and has been important to you, when it feels comfortable for you to do so.

I provide a safe space for you to explore what has been happening and how you are feeling by agreeing things such as how confidentiality works, with you in our first session.

I like to think of this as you approaching me at certain point in your life story where you are finding the next chapter difficult to write.

My job is to help you understand the story so far and why "now" is feeling like a struggle so that when you feel ready, you are able to write your own next chapter.
