Session Fees
The cost is £55, payable in advance via bank transfer. Details are provided during the booking process.
I can work with insurance providers if required. In this case, the fee is £70 per session. This reflects the additional administration required.
All sessions last 50 minutes.

First Session
This is a one-off 50 minute appointment. It can be online or face to face (see locations).
It's an opportunity to meet and speak in more detail about things like what you'd like to achieve from counselling and how often you'd like to meet.
I'll explain how confidentiality works in the counselling room and answer any questions you have. We'll also exchange the contact information needed to work together.
At the end of this session, we'll agree next steps together.
Ongoing Counselling
If you think that you'll benefit from us working together, we'll book ongoing 50 minute sessions.
This can be a regular weekly bookings, ad-hoc or time limited e.g. fixed to 6 sessions, depending on your requirements.
In these sessions, you can explore how you're feeling at the pace that suits you.
Ongoing counselling can be ended at any time but where ever possible, I ask that one week's notice is given to allow us the opportunity to discuss this and review the work and what's been achieved together.
Cancelling Sessions
- I operate a 48 hour cancellation policy, so if you notify me that you are unable to attend more than 2 days before we are scheduled to meet you'll receive a full refund.
- On the day cancellations are charged in full.
- Life can sometimes be unpredictable so, if you inform me of a cancellation between 24 and 48 hours ahead of our appointment, a £10 admin fee will be charged to cover costs.
Holidays & Breaks
There'll be times when either you or I will have holidays booked, which will result in missed sessions. I'll notify you of any sessions I can't make in advance and ask that you do the same. There's no charge if more than 48 hours notice is given.
My job is to help you understand the story so far and why "now" is feeling like a struggle so that when you feel ready, you are able to write your own next chapter.
